Promoting French craftsmanship and know-how
The Lyon workshop has been our historic workshop since 2015. It's the smallest atelier we work with.
Antoine, who heads this workshop, is an artisan jeweler who works with the finest houses on Place Vendôme. Here, all work is done by hand, for the utmost finesse and quality.
Antoine makes our entire Victoire collection, as well as cast-iron pieces such as our magnificent Astro medals.
Our partner workshop in Haute-Savoie is where craftsmanship meets industry.
Founded in the 60s by Frédéric's father, the current managing director, this workshop specializes in machining. This technique is at the heart of our Madame collection.
The history of this workshop means that it has some marvellous items in its archives, such as old prints that need to be brought up to date, and mechanical machines that work wonders, particularly in wirework, which is their second specialty.
In Paris, we carry out part of the electroplating of our creations. This is the final touch for our gold-plated creations, as it's the application of the gold layer to our brass-based creations.
At aglaia, we work with high-quality plating, so it's essential for us to be supported by a workshop with recognized expertise. In fact, our pieces are 18k gold-plated. This means that the layer of gold applied is 3 microns (thickness of the gold) - the designation gold-plated is regulated (unlike gilt, which has a plating with no minimum carat), which obliges us to this high quality.
Created in the 70s, this family-run company is now run by Franck, who continues the family tradition of craftsmanship and state-of-the-art tools and treatments. The company works for some of the biggest names in fashion, giving it a prime position in the world of jewelry. We are very proud of this partnership since 2020.
The Marseille workshop is our own. It is here that we mount Cultured Pearls, notably for our Venus collection. It's also here that all the stone bonding is carried out, such as on the Pasithéa ring or the Maud earrings.
Finally, our upcycled Vita Nova collection is produced entirely in our Marseille workshop, using stones and primers left over from our previous collections.
Our partner workshop in Ile de France specializes in handcrafted rings. This know-how is at the heart of our Victoire collection in particular.
Founded in the 50s, this small, family-run business has a sense of excellence, quality and passion for its craft. It works with some of the world's most renowned houses, giving it a unique position.
