Style Tips

Know your ring size

There are many ways to find out your ring size. Here are a few simple ways to determine your ring size.

Method n°1

Use a ring you already wear. Take a ring you usually wear on your ring finger and place it on a tape measure or ruler. Measure the inner circumference of the ring and compare it to the ring size correspondence indicated on the tape measure or ruler.

Method n°2

Use a ring sizing tool. There are several ring size measuring tools available online or in jewelry stores. These tools are usually designed in the form of a plastic or metal circle that can be adjusted to the size of your finger. Simply follow the instructions supplied with the tool to determine your ring size.

Method n°3

Use string. If you don't have any rings in your size or a measuring tool, you can use a piece of string, wire or a strip of paper a few mm long to measure your ring size. Take a piece of string and wrap it tightly around your finger before making a notch where the wires overlap. Transfer the measurement between the notches to a ruler, and check the length to the nearest millimetre.

Method n°4

Ask a jeweller. If you're in any doubt about your ring size, or if you're not sure about the method you're using, you can ask a jeweller to help you determine your ring size. Most jewellers have ring size measuring tools and often offer a free measuring service.

If you already have rings, but would like to be sure of our ring size, you can use our ring gauge. To do this, print it out on an A4 sheet, so that the scale corresponds to 10cm, and place your ring on the circle that you think best fits it.

Be careful, the circle must be glued to the inner edge of your ring, without any gap, but without covering it either. The hoop that best fits your ring is your size!

It's important to note that the size of your finger can vary according to ambient temperature and humidity, as well as factors such as exercise and weight loss or gain. It is therefore advisable to measure your finger at different times of the day and under different conditions to get an accurate estimate of your ring size.

It's also important to note that the ring size indicated on measuring tools may vary slightly from one manufacturer to another. If you buy a ring online or in a store that uses a different size scale from the one you're used to, it's advisable to check the size correspondences indicated by the manufacturer or ask a jeweler for advice.
